Mark had an initial and somewhat brief first flirtation with singing just before he left school, when he and three friends formed a band! After various 'gigs' in pubs and halls across South East London, a management career in the 'Wine Bar / Restaurant' industry beckoned and this meant working unsociable hours, leaving no time for 'gigs' on a friday night due to the various work commitments. !
 
Over the next 25 years singing opportunities were few and far between, apart from in the shower at home or the kitchen at work, and It wasn't until he was put in charge of booking live acts for the venues under his jursitiction that his love of singing was re ignited. He would see first hand exactly what was needed to put on a show and more importantly how much people would be prepared to pay.

After many singing lessons and occasional practice on the karaoke circuit Mark was finally ready to turn his passion into an "ACT" and follow his dream of singing again in front of a live audience!
 
Having matured with age, like a fine wine, Mark is a lover of 'swing' music and this clearly comes through in his performance. His set consists of songs by the greats such as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Dean Martin and the new boy on the block, Michael Buble. In addition and very importantly, having worked on the other side of this industry, i.e, the man in charge of booking acts, Mark is fully aware of the need to offer clients good value and you will be pleasantly surprised by his rates as he has made a deliberate effort to keep hies prices below that charged of his peers. He does this simply as his love of singing far outweighs his need to earn extra money.

Mark has carried out a multitude of gigs for friends and acquaintances and is now performing to a wider and more varied market and like Aiden Kent shares the ability and social skills to mix with and entertain people from all walks of life, so whether it's a swanky black tie dinner or a lazy sunday afternoon lunch gig, Mark will, with his mix of singing and humour, ensure your guests thoroughly enjoy the experience. Mark may also be gracing our screens later on this year in the popular TV programme "BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT" having made it through the early qualification heats.
